It was at the age of 8, when he was living in Troy, MI that he received a gift from one of his friends , 'The Planetarium' . This game exposed him to the world of stars and planets. Pranav was drawn to the game instantly. His admiration for outer space never ceased till today.

Pranav enjoys researching on the mysteries of the universe. He spends most of his time reading articles on the NASA website and keeps up to date on all the latest scientific discoveries. He has read several books and watched videos presented by famous physicists such as Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Neil De Grass Tyson and Brian Greene.

Pranav aims to be a research scientist one day. He hopes to study exoplanets and all the mysteries that surround them, aid in projects such as Automated Planet Finder(APF) and Geneva Extrasolar Planet Search. His dream is to one day find an Earth-like planet that contains intelligent life. Finding intelligent life could be the greatest discovery since fire because it opens up infinite possibilities to what the universe could harbor. He hopes to further pursue his passion by doing his masters and PhD in Astrophysics.
